Dow nears record high

The Dow closed up 19.85 at 11,689.24 on Wednesday, just shy of a record high of 11,722.98 set in January 2000. The NASDAQ finished up 2.05 at 2,263.39, and the S&P 500 ended up 0.25 at 1,336.59.
