Replace Aironet 350 Workgroup

Wireless Security Receiver

Hi,

I'm looking for a wireless security receiver for commercial buildings
that can handle several motion detectors as well as door and window
contacts. The ideal receiver should also have dry contact outputs for
every sensor in order to connect them to any commercial alarm system.
I'm looking for a receiver that is not designed for a particular alarm
panel, but one with a generic output that can work on several different
systems from different companies.

So far I found one from Inovonics th ..

I am stumped with ACS and AD comms

Hello, I need some help.

Windows 2003 AD, Cisco CSA v, ACS server v , Windows XP SP 2 clients.
We are also running other Win app servers (Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint).

We have a bunch of CSA rules applied. It's a spaghetti combination, no
way to really diagnose problems by looking at just the rules.

Is there something fundamental which prevents AD and ACS talking to
each other? Would CSA rule ..

We are having an issue with DHCP and login to a Novell server whereby
the clients can't find the tree. There seems to be some sort of timing

New 10 digit dialing problems
Effective 17 June 2006, residents of the two area codes 613 and 819 in
Eastern Canada will be required to dial the area code before the number in
order to make any kind of local call. This has a major bearing on how alarm
panels work, since they too have to dial a 10 digit receiver number, and I'm
sure most alarm companies are rushing to reprogram their customers panels.
However, I have to wonder what is going to happen to all those many
thousands of older panels which have been acquired ..
